Maureen Poole, Frithelstock’s own correspondent, has been reporting events
and family announcements for over 40 years. All reports that
appeared in the local press have been added to large size scrap books. Press
reports are by their nature only temporary and are frequently discarded. But
Maureen has been keeping for posterity – little did she anticipate that
they would be used to create this book. The period covers 1972 to 2012 and
